Bridging digital models and
physical jobsite reality.

Research

My research focuses on execution-time quality assurance in cyber-physical production systems for industrialized construction.

Digital Infrastructure

I develop standards-based interoperability that links physical assets with digital twins. Using the Asset Administration Shell (AAS), ISO 23247, and RAMI 4.0, this work establishes a shared semantic layer across heterogeneous tools, controllers, and simulation environments. The goal is vendor-neutral exchange so construction cyber-physical systems remain aligned from design through execution.

Operational Assurance

The Specification-driven Architecture for Governance of Execution (SAGE) is a deterministic conformance mechanism that evaluates real-time data against explicit technical specifications. Rather than relying on post-hoc inspection alone, SAGE governs execution by checking whether live process signals satisfy stated requirements as work unfolds. This supports traceable, decision-ready assurance in industrialized construction production systems.
